Christmas is over and its time to think about you. Are you happy with your appearance? Are there enhancements or changes that could be made that would make you more pleased with yourself? The new year is approaching and if you are a serious candidate for plastic surgery procedures then this may be the year. Take a look at the possibilities available.
Rhinoplasty or the common nose job is still one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures. Many people are just not happy with the shape or balance of the nose, and rhinoplasty actually is one of the oldest of plastic surgery techniques.
Otoplasty, or ear surgery was practiced in ancient India 2,600 years ago, first being devised to assist criminals who had their ears amputated as punishment for crimes. These days many people believe their ears are too large, or just not proportioned properly. Otoplasty is safe and very common.
Breast enlargement and breast reduction are both surgeries that are quite common. Many women just don’t believe that they’ve received enough of nature’s bounty and utilize plastic surgery to enhance their features. Newer methods using saline implants are much safer than methods used in years past. And many women who believe they have too much of a good thing have seen the plastic to have breast reduction surgery. Breasts that are too large and heavy can cause back strain, neck problems and in general inhibit good health, so breast reduction is often for health reasons as much as for ascetic reasons.
Liposuction has been in the media a great deal. Many people believe that liposuction is a weight loss method but it actually is not recommended over the simple, tried and true diet and exercise regimen, but it is great for those persistent hard to lose areas that many people are afflicted with. Using liposuction to finish off the weight loss process helps many.
Face lift is always popular. Having a face lift or a mini lift will let a person get rid of many of the obvious signs of age. Tightening the facial skin can bring back a youthful appearance for many.
Of course, as a candidate for plastic surgery you should be in overall good health, both physically and mentally. You must follow your doctor’s instructions and you must have reasonable expectations of the outcome. If you meet the criteria then this could be your year for enhancements.
